Before you publish: this document is a working draft written for an Indian travel business. Replace every highlighted placeholder with your real entity details and have a lawyer review it against how you actually operate. It is not legal advice.

These terms govern every booking made with Her Bucket List. By paying a booking amount you confirm that you have read them, that you accept them, and that you have the authority to accept them for everyone named on your booking.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Her Bucket List" mean ADD registered entity name, registered office ADD registered address, Jaipur, Rajasthan, GSTIN ADD GSTIN. "You" means the person making the booking and every traveller named on it.

1. Who can book

Our trips are women-only departures. Travellers must be women aged 18 or above on the date of departure. Custom and private group trips may carry different rules, which we confirm in writing before booking.

2. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation, not when payment is initiated.
  • 25 percent of the trip price is payable to hold a seat. This includes a non-refundable booking fee of ADD amount per traveller.
  • The balance is due 30 days before departure. For trips priced above ₹75,000 the balance may be split into two instalments by prior written agreement.
  • If the balance is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges in our refund policy.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and are per traveller on twin sharing unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST and TCS are charged as required by Indian law.

3. What the price includes

Each trip page lists inclusions and exclusions. Anything not listed as included is excluded. Flights are not included unless the trip page says so. Prices quoted as "land only" cover services from the stated arrival point to the stated departure point.

4. Price changes

The price is fixed once your booking is confirmed, except where a government levy, permit fee, fuel surcharge or exchange rate movement outside our control increases our cost. In that case we will tell you the revised amount in writing. If the increase is more than 8 percent of the trip price, you may cancel within 7 days of being told and receive a full refund of amounts paid.

5. Passports, visas and permits

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visa, and any permit or health certificate your destination requires. We will tell you what is needed and help with applications where we can, but we are not responsible for a visa refusal, a passport with insufficient validity or blank pages, or a denial of entry by immigration authorities. No refund is due if you cannot travel for any of these reasons.

6. Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory on all international trips and strongly recommended on trips within India. Your policy should cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and loss of baggage. We will ask for your policy number before departure. If you travel without insurance you do so at your own risk and cost.

7. Health and fitness

Every trip page states a difficulty level. You must tell us at booking about any medical condition, medication, allergy, mobility limit or pregnancy that could affect your participation or the group's safety. Some of our itineraries involve high altitude, long drives on mountain roads, and treks of several hours. If you withhold relevant information, we may decline participation in an activity or on the trip, without a refund.

8. Behaviour on trip

Our trip leads may ask a traveller to leave the group if her behaviour endangers others, breaks local law, or repeatedly disrupts the itinerary. In that case no refund is due and any onward travel is at her own cost. We expect travellers to respect local customs, dress codes at religious sites, and the privacy of other women in the group, including not sharing photographs of them without permission.

9. Changes by us

Itineraries are planned in advance but conditions change. We may alter routes, stays, activities or the order of days for reasons of safety, weather, road closures, permit refusal or supplier failure. We will always substitute something of comparable standard where possible and tell you as soon as we can. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund.

10. Cancellation by us

We need a minimum of six travellers to run a fixed departure. If a departure does not reach that number we will tell you at least 21 days before the start date and offer either a transfer to another departure or a full refund. We may also cancel for force majeure as described below.

11. Cancellation by you

Cancellation charges are set out in our cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform where it is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, earthquake, landslide, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strike, government order, border closure, airport closure or airline insolvency. Where a trip is affected, we will refund what we can recover from suppliers after deducting costs already incurred and non-recoverable payments.

13. Third party suppliers

We book hotels, homestays, transport operators, airlines, guides and activity providers on your behalf. They are independent contractors, not our employees, and they carry their own terms. We select them with care and use them repeatedly, but we are not liable for their acts or omissions beyond the responsibility we hold as the organiser under Indian law.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that trip. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed connections, lost earnings or the cost of flights booked separately.

15. Photography

We may photograph groups during a trip and use those images in our marketing. Tell your trip lead if you do not want to appear, either at the start of the trip or at any point during it, and we will exclude you. Written consent is taken separately for anything used as a testimonial.

16. Intellectual property

The Her Bucket List name, logo, itineraries, photographs and website content are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.

17. Complaints

If something goes wrong on trip, tell your trip lead immediately so we have a chance to fix it. If it is not resolved, write to hello@herbucketlist.in within 30 days of the trip ending with your booking reference and what happened. We acknowledge within 3 working days and respond in full within 21 days.
